DigiFusE stands for Digital Fusion Environments. DigiFuseE aims to create a practical, evidence-based guideline for a successful Education Environment to help care institutes for vulnerable people. We will do this by analyzing the scope and the challenges that come with this, in a holistic way and look at strategical, organizational, informational and technical aspects while taking in count both the different stakeholders and the specific security aspects that are relevant for this kind of environments.

• A Group of experts in the field of ICT and education for vulnerable groups that will form a consortium.
• A SWOT based on research with the needs of staff and target groups
• A method based on SOIT layers: Strategy, Organization, Information, Technical.
• A DigiFusE training and advise system based on the method.
• An open access website with method and training
• 3 improved education environments: BLEEP/re-integration, Triangle and PERSPECTIVE/vocational skills

The project will use three distinct education fields:
BLEEP: a blended learning environment developed to integrate traditional and digital learning methods. It supports staff in prisons by providing a similar framework for acquiring new skills and approaches, catering to teachers, mentors, social workers, and reintegration coaches.
TRIANGLE: a secured digital education system designed for vocational skills within closed institutions, encompassing formal and non-formal education. Triangle addresses the challenge of skill-building and portfolio development within a secure internet setting and can be used in open setting.
PERSPEKTIVE: promoting the reintegration of (former) inmates into the labor market. It facilitates an exchange of experts as well as correctional institutions from seven European countries at the working level. The partners are developing a handbook with educational activities to strengthen the social and job-related skills of inmates, which will be transferred to an online platform as part of DigiFusE and made available to European prisons.
