EPEA-Webinar – December 4th, 2025 – 17.00 – 18.00 CET – Entrepreneurship and Psychology in Prison Education

Work is one of the key factors for successful reintegration after imprisonment. Yet, stereotypes against formerly incarcerated people continue to limit their chances in the job market. One alternative path is entrepreneurship — empowering individuals to create their own opportunities.

This is where the PREP project (Reintegration through Entrepreneurship and Psychology) comes in. PREP has developed a self-paced e-learning course that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and action among incarcerated people. What makes PREP stand out is its focus on the psychological mindset behind entrepreneurship — not just the economic aspects.

Join Niklas George from Saarland University (GER) for a presentation of the outcomes of the Erasmus+ project which was designed to address incarcerated people across Europe. Niklas will guide participants through the digital course content in an interactive session.

The PREP course is completely free to use. It is easy to implement locally (without Internet access) and designed to support educators and prisons in their teaching efforts.

      • Discover how psychology and entrepreneurship can drive successful reintegration.
      • Explore the PREP e-learning course and its innovative focus on the psychological mindset behind entrepreneurship—moving beyond traditional economic training.
      • Let’s rethink rehabilitation—through mindset, motivation, and meaningful work.
